Here is my handy-work as modelled by Lucy, who was looking for a drastic change....

she trusted me enough to let me give her a jodie marsh/ cyndi lauper circa '83 -esque undercut with the aid of just a pair of scissors (we couldn't get hold of any clippers... which is probably for the best, as I've never used them before)

and this is once it was styled. I did the quiff, and Lucy added the extensions.

I love it so much. Wish I would suit an undercut!
